Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party service that supplies results. Lebanon Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those queries on its own servers. When someone sends a message, the information visible to us is the content of that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted pages, the service may create basic logs with an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use aggregated information to maintain the service and understand traffic patterns. Cookies or similar tools may support ordinary analytics or advertising measurement where used.
How Limited Data Is Used
The limited data supports site operation, error correction, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Links lead to Lebanon County and Pennsylvania portals, historical collections, archives, and third-party search services. Once a visitor enters information with an outside provider, that provider's terms and privacy practices apply. The same is true of sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers may process the technical logs described above. Analytics or advertising partners may receive automatic data needed for their services. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise only as described here.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above. Because there are no visitor accounts, the site does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be deleted.
Choices About Your Data
Visitors may ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data this private service holds. Since very little is retained, a request ordinarily involves the contact mailbox and available server logs. Use the Contact page to make that request. Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101–67.3104, governs access to agency records, not this private service; a correction or removal request for a state, county, or City record belongs with its custodian.
